What to Expect
Nationwide Bulk Bag Delivery
TuGro delivers bulk bags of topsoil, compost and lawn dressing products across England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man and selected offshore locations.
All products are supplied in approximately 750kg bulk bags and delivered on pallets via our trusted pallet delivery network.
Delivery Options
Economy Delivery
Economy deliveries are typically completed within 1–3 working days from dispatch, depending on your location.
Next Day Delivery
Next Day Delivery is available in selected postcode areas for orders placed before the daily cut-off time.
Delivery availability and charges are calculated automatically at checkout based on your postcode.
How Your Order Will Arrive
Your order will arrive:
In a bulk bag
Secured to a wooden pallet
Delivered using a pallet network vehicle equipped with a tail lift and pallet trolley
The driver will unload the pallet at the nearest safe and accessible kerbside location.
Delivery Requirements
To complete a delivery, the vehicle requires:
Access for an 18-tonne delivery vehicle
A smooth, level, hard-standing surface such as concrete, tarmac or block paving
Sufficient space for the driver to manoeuvre safely
Pallet trolleys cannot operate on:
Grass
Gravel
Loose stone
Mud
Uneven surfaces
Steep slopes
If suitable access is not available, the driver may be unable to complete the delivery.
Kerbside Delivery
All deliveries are kerbside deliveries only.
Drivers are unable to move pallets through gardens, over kerbs, onto driveways with unsuitable surfaces or into rear gardens.
The final placement location is at the driver's discretion based on safety and accessibility.
Pallet Disposal
The wooden pallet remains the responsibility of the customer once delivery has been completed.
TuGro and the delivery network do not offer a pallet collection service.
Many customers choose to:
Reuse pallets for garden projects
Offer pallets for free collection locally
Recycle pallets through local recycling facilities
Delivery Delays
While we always aim to deliver within the advertised timescales, delays can occasionally occur due to:
Severe weather conditions
Traffic incidents
Ferry disruptions
Operational issues within the pallet network
We recommend allowing additional time during peak periods.
Delivery Inspection
Please inspect your delivery upon arrival.
If there are any issues with the pallet or product, please notify us as soon as possible and, where possible, take photographs before moving the product.
